Well, as an equestrian, I am by all happy when I see the horse world being spread around to people (although MLP is a disgrace to the horse world in my opinion), but when I see it debased like this it just makes me cringe. Bottom line: if you are going to use a word that you learned, especially a term about specific anatomy, know what the hell it actually means!The flank of a horse/pony is not the correct word for its butt! All of those phrases don't make sense!
I don't care what Hub or the writers of the show said, the flank ≠ the butt of the horse/pony. The flank is the horse/pony's side! Get it through your pony-crazed head! If you want to be correct, the anatomically correct word for a horse/pony's butt is rump and occasionally haunches."
